You can support the River Song Waldorf programs, children and community in many ways!
During this time of unknown, the one thing we are sure of is that our teachers need, and deserve, our continued support. As River Song will be soon reopening in a lessened capacity, the tuition brought in with fewer children will not cover all of our teacher salaries and operating expenses.
River Song was blessed to get a portion of the PPP loan, which covered all salaries for April and May. Thanks to the generous donations of our families during those two months we were closed, we are also able to cover teacher pay a bit longer. However, that will soon run out.
This is where we need your help! Please use the link above to make a donation through Colorado Gives. All gifts qualify for the 50% State of Colorado tax credit as well as all allowable federal deductions. Meanwhile, your donation will be invested in the teachers who make our school the warm, loving, and magical place for children to begin their journey into education.
On behalf of the teachers, the staff, the Board and all of our children, THANK YOU for your love and generosity for our little school.
We love that you’d like to help, thank you!

Every year, we receive wonderful and often unexpected donations, including everything from a vintage framed photograph of Waldorf’s founder Rudolf Steiner to wine barrels and seedling starts for our children’s vegetable garden. Current items we’re inviting into our school include the following:
- 4 weeding knives
- 2 transfer shovels
- Natural fabric yardage
- Natural felting wool and yarn
No drop offs, please. Email email@example.com.
Thank you for your cash gift! Whether you’d like to make a one time contribution or plan for ongoing or legacy gifts, your generosity is so appreciated. Depending on the nature of your gift and wishes, we can allocate your gift into any area you request. In the past, we’ve invested contributions like yours in the following school initiatives:
- Tuition assistance
- Childcare and preschool scholarships
- Continuing education for staff
- Art and craft supplies
- Naturalized play areas
- Infrastructure upgrades
Of course, your cash gift is 100% tax deductible, and we will partner with you to deliver the right documentation so you (or your organization) can also benefit from your gift.
